Dollhouse Exterior: Side Bay Window

The side bay window is now complete. Paint, install and interior edging is done. I still need to complete the interior wood trim, but it's almost there.

I opted for the bay window instead of the standard window frame that came with the house. The bay window adds more light to the room and enhances character, it also gives another point of interest and can be utilised as a sitting area in the bedroom.

  1. This window is Perfect for the side of the house as it gives a bit of extra dimension and is in harmony with the scale of the wall. I love your choice of colors for the exterior as well as the stained glass that you have installed. It looks great! :D

  2. I'm researching bay windows for my dollhouse, and you make the process look doable! Thank you! Can you please tell me where you got your stain glass? The whole window is so pretty! I'm glad to see this type of window actually installed -- looks so different from the unfinished window!

    1. Hi Rhonda, I used 'Houseworks Victorian Bay Window' which are available through many different suppliers. I can't actually recall the exact supplier for the stain glass, I think it may have been a US supplier, but if you google 1:12 scale stain glass you should be able to find it :)
